Some may wonder why Muskrat’s Web? Well to be honest, when I was just a boy my dad got some CB radios, and set up all our cars and house with them. Then all of us kids picked out a name each. I picked out several names, only to find out that somebody already had that name on the air.
Since I’m an animal lover, I wanted to have an animal. After a little while, I saw a muskrat a the magazine, And thought to my self, Nobody is going to name themselves after that ugly thing.
And I was right!
Now 30 years later I have meet only one person using that name on the radio. And I drive all over this country in a semi. So when I come online some 10 years back. I thought to myself, the names stood me good all these years off line why not try it online?
And it’s been just as good to me here. I have found a few more online than on the CB, but it’s still an uncommon name. So I’m Muskrat in most forums I use and IRC chats, So when I registered a domain I just stayed with it.
